Heritage, History and Activism The Latino GBLT History Project will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month & LGBT History months in September and October 2012 with a series of events in the nation’s capital honoring the History, Heritage and Activism of LGBTQ Latinos. Events will include a film screening at the George Washington University, a special reception and charla with LGBT Latino activist Roland Palencia and a historical exhibition and the 7th Annual Hispanic LGBTQ Heritage Awards Reception. Sponsorship Opportunities 7th Annual Hispanic LGBTQ Heritage Awards Reception Date: Friday, October 19, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Please join us for our annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage and LGBT History months and a benefit for the Latino GLBT History Project. This event is an important opportunity to celebrate 25 years of LBGT Latino activism, support the Latino GLBT History Project, reflect on our accomplishments over the past year and honor LGBT Latinos who have made outstanding contributions our movement. This year, our event will take place at the Human Rights Campaign Equality Forum with a wine reception, appetizers and entertainment.
